The rillettes of salmon, prawns and calamari starters were excellent, especially the prawns, but the grilled calamari was really very very good.
For the main course we had tagine - the chicken, citron config and olive tagine was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. An amazing taste, I was so sad when I finished.
The brioche Perdue for dessert was sensational, gooey with crispy edges and home made caramel. An amazing end to a gorgeous meal.- Type de repas

Absolutely delicious home made food served by super friendly and attentive staff. We had Moules Frites, vegetarian tajine and beef often. All finished with a delicious mango cheesecake. Couldn't fault it..

Very social owner. English. Italian. French and a couple other languages spoken. Food is prepared fresh, ask for something added and they will try to make it happen. 1 block off the tourist path and worth the walk.

Excellent moules frites! Children's menu is the same as the adult's but half portions/ half price. The speak English, Italian, Spanish, and of course French! Very welcoming.

Elisa was a wonderful hostess with a super team. We were able to sit outside with a large loud group. Food and wine were excellent, was such a wonderful discovery. This is a truly welcoming place. Cannot wait to return!

Off the beaten tourist track. This place is a gem. Food is phenomenal. Full of locals. I ordered the best gnocchi I've ever eaten here and my friend had the best steak frites.Beer was amazing and the welcome is so warm you feel like a local This is a must do. We came here 2 nights in a row it was sooo incredible! Dont miss this

We went here two times due to son being gluten free. The remembered us and really looked after us. The food is cooked fresh and so tasty . I believe this is a must for anyone going to La Rochelle . And if sunny they give you a hat!

The friendly staff made us feel welcome and the dishes we chose were delicious (chicken tajine with lemon and olives, rabbit in mustard sauce, and ending with one of the best crême brûlées I have had in a long time. Good service. Compared to other restaurants that catch the tourist flows they actually have to serve food and attract people, so the food is reasonably priced and good. We got their lunch menu which is a deal.
